Player Clearances
We understand that players and families may sometimes choose to move to another club. NABC aims to make the clearance process as clear and straightforward as possible.
Clearances can only be processed during the applicable clearance window and are subject to the requirements below.
Step 1
Submit Your Request
Email the NABC Secretary with the player’s full name and the
club they wish to transfer to.
Basketball SA also requires
districtleagues@basketballsa.com.au
to be copied into the request.
Step 2
Clearance Review
A standard clearance fee of $50 applies and
standard processing time is approximately two weeks.
All requests are subject to a financial check. Any outstanding
Club fees must be paid before the clearance can be approved.
Step 3
Final Requirements
Before approval, NABC will confirm that all outstanding fees
have been paid and any Club uniforms or equipment have been returned.
Once approved, Basketball SA will be notified and confirmation
will be provided when the clearance has been processed.
Optional
Express Clearance
Families may request an express clearance by completing an exit
questionnaire and making a genuine effort to provide feedback
to the Club.
The express clearance fee is $25 and the request
can then be processed immediately once all other requirements
have been satisfied.
